Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 to join our Corporate Services account located in Lawrence Township, NJ. This Food Operations Manager will oversee a team of up to 26 Sodexo frontline (hourly) employees and report directly into a General Manager. This individual will own the day to day relationship with client while overseeing retail and catering operations at the business. 

 

This position offers a predominately Monday - Friday work schedule.

 

The successful candidate will:

be kitchen savvy;have oversight of daily food operations, catering and deliver a high-quality product;achieve company and client financial targets and goals to include oversight of cash-handling and the POS system;develop and maintain client and customer relationships;motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) staff; ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
