Sodexo is seeking an experienced Food Operations Manager 3 at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, a 750-bed hospital renowned for its research located in Dallas, TX.
The Food Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing retail operations, managing food costs/budgets, conducting new employee trainings, and driving employee engagement while maintaining the highest level of patient and guest satisfaction. Prior retail management experience managing a high-volume is preferred.
The successful candidate will:
evaluate and develop service levels for the overall Patient Services Program targeted to exceed patient and customer satisfaction;coordinate department safety and sanitationensure operating standards meet and exceed benchmarksengage with employees and promote an inclusive culture rounding with patients and nurses to promote and improve patient satisfaction
We are looking for candidates who have:
management experience in the food service industry experience leading a team in a kitchen environment and enforcing safety & sanitation protocols natural ability to lead and build teams and foster engagement demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs.

Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
