Food Pantry Coordinator

SUMMARY OF JOB Oversees all operational aspects of the Food Pantry including but not limited to acting as coordinator of volunteers, procuring food donations, preparing statistics/regular reports, completion of required regulatory paperwork, maintaining all regulatory compliance including compliance with outside agencies such as the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, regular monitoring of cost/inventory/quality controls. Additionally, continuously seeks to identify fundraising opportunities to sustain the operations of the Food Pantry, while building and strengthening current external partnerships and expanding our collaborative opportunities to better serve our clients. RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS: • High School Diploma or GED required • Bachelors Degree Preferred • 3 years experience in food pantry, restaurant, retail, or other applicable setting • Able to travel to other Redeemer Health offices • Ability to interact effectively with volunteers, manager, staff, and community leaders • Excellent time management skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Demonstrates ability to work with confidential/sensitive issues • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other PC applications LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS: • Current certification in Safe Food Handling • Valid driver’s license EQUAL OPPORTUNITY Redeemer Health is an equal opportunity employer.
