**Food Processor** **Job Description** As a Processor, you will be responsible for loading raw materials, operating machinery, and ensuring the highest quality of finished products. This role involves physically loading ingredients, maintaining logs, monitoring production, and performing quality checks. **Responsibilities** + Physically load raw materials (spices, sugars, seasonings, etc.) into machines. + Keep logs (paper and electronic) of material fed into the machine. + Operate machines to ensure products run for the correct duration. + Perform quality checks on products as they come out of the machines and are fed into containers. + Mix finished products and maintain the highest quality standards. + Prepare products according to established formulas while monitoring production needs. + Perform deck set-up for daily schedules and operate equipment to aid in processing formulas. + Use local control panels to control additions of all metered and manually added/weighed ingredients to mix and transfer batches. + Lift up to 50 pounds regularly. **Work Environment** You will work in a fast-paced food processing environment. The area can be wet at times due to sanitation team spraying down machines. The shift follows a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, with current openings on Day Shift from 5am-5pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.81 - $22.81 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
