Food Production Supervisor
Jersey Shore CML is currently hiring for a Food Production Supervisor to join our central manufacturing facility. Please note, this is not a remote position.

The Food Production Supervisor oversees daily operations with processing and packaging food production and quality control in a safe and efficient manner. Food Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring proper sanitation guidelines are met while creating a safe work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages all operations at plant level to ensure efficient production and high-quality products
- Collaborate with all operations departments to ensure a one-team mindset working towards common goals.
- Track key indicators of production team’s performance including safety, efficiency, waste, downtime, labor costs, and ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
- Ensure GMP Compliance and safety standards are communicated through training.
- Take appropriate actions to investigate safety concerns to maintain a safe and secure environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure machinery and equipment is well maintained and running safely according to specifications.
- Ensure the plant meets all government, customer, and third-party audit requirements and take corrective actions according to the audit results as appropriate.
- Provide direction to assist your team with troubleshooting and problem-solving issues as they arise.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Warehouse and Food Production/Manufacturing Experience is a MUST
- 2+ years Production Management Experience
- BS/MS Degree in Business Management and/or Food Manufacturing related field preferred
- Strong understanding of CGMP Compliance guidelines
- Communicates skillfully both written and verbally
- Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred
- Serv Safe Certified
