Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina is looking to welcome a Food Runner for the Lounge to join our team!

Our property, which has 595 guest rooms, is located on the Intracoastal Waterway, less than 10 minutes from Fort Lauderdale sand via our beach shuttle. Our pool bar is open from 11am-6pm and our Room service is open from 7am-5pm, then again from 5pm-10pm.

Our ideal candidate has 1+ years' experience as a food runner for a high-volume restaurant. Hotel experience preferred. Availability to work the required shifts.

Shift Pattern: Full Time shifts between 7AM-10PM (weekdays, weekends, and holidays) 

\n

Rate of Pay: $19.00 per hour

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Food Runner, you would be responsible for maintaining and transporting all food products for a designated outlet or outlets in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nPrepare and replenish foods for hot and cold buffets to include, but not limited to, fruit, juices, cereals, bread, hot food, etc.\nReplenish ice and maintain time and temperature sanitation standards\nTransport food items to and from the kitchen\nCheck, maintain and control inventory of food items\nRestock outlet(s) with inventory and break down the buffet to clean, replace and set for next day\nPerform general cleaning to maintain cleanliness of work area\nPut away food stock and dry goods according to established standards\n
