Overview Job Summary: A Food Runner at Black Desert Resort plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience for our guests. This position reports to the Restaurant Manager and is responsible for delivering food from the kitchen to the dining room promptly and accurately, ensuring that all orders are served to the correct guests and presented to the highest standards. Job Specification: Location: Onsite at Black Desert Resort Shift & Schedule: Year-Round / Full Time & Part Time / Weekends / Holidays Pay Range: $12.00/hour plus Tips. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors. Job Responsibilities but not limited to: Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining room quickly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including taking drink orders, clearing tables, and resetting them. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure a seamless dining experience. Ensure all dishes are delivered to guests promptly and in accordance with the restaurant’s service standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and kitchen areas. Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas before and after service. Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies. Address guest requests and inquiries courteously and promptly. Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction. Assist with stocking and replenishing supplies as needed. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in order delivery. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks. Good communication and teamwork skills. Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for providing excellent customer service. Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Willingness to follow instructions and take on new challenges.
