We are seeking a QA Specialist who will focus on implementing food safety policies on the production floor. We are recognized for our excellence, quality, innovation and leadership in today's pet industry. **Pay: Up to $65k Annual** **Responsibilities:** + Ensure compliance with the company's Food Safety Program, policies, and protocols. + Review daily records for quality inspections, HACCP, SSOP, and GMP. + Monitor food safety processes, including sanitation and inspections. + Conduct and support routine audits and inspections with relevant teams. + Maintain audit documentation and review records for compliance. + Analyze inspection trends to drive continuous improvement. + Participate in Food Safety Training and team meetings. + Help develop and update policies, procedures, and compliance documentation. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field (preferred). + Experience in food safety, quality assurance, or food production. + Knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, GMP, and food safety regulations. + Strong attention to detail, analytical, and communication skills. + Proficient in Microsoft Office and food safety management systems. + Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams. + HACCP certification preferred. + Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. **_This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
