Job Description:

Tyson Foods Inc. is looking to add a year-around Food Safety & Quality Assurance intern to its team, starting the summer or fall of 2025. The intern will work out of our Tyson Foods World Headquarters located in Springdale, Arkansas. The selected intern will participate in food safety & quality assurance facility audits, develop standardized enterprise-wide food safety & quality assurance training programs, support Tyson Foods innovation and product development projects, participate and lead technical services assigned projects, as well as in other food safety & quality assurance projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

·         Education: Bachelor’s degree in food science, animal science, food microbiology or nutrition (Junior or Senior); GPA of at least 3.0

·         Communication skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

·         Special Skills: Detail oriented, organized; prior experience with meeting deadlines; self-motivated and self-starter; able to multi-task and manage time efficiently.

·         Computer skills: Experience with Microsoft office

Position-Specific Requirements:

·         This internship is year-round roles where candidate is expected to work part-time (20 hours/week) during the school year and full-time (40 hours per week) This is a year-round paid internship located at our Springdale, Arkansas World Headquarters.

·         Candidate must be located within a 60 mile radius of our WHQ to be considered.
