Job Description:

About the Role:

The Quality Manager role at the Hanover location establishes, directs and monitors all in plant food safety, quality and sanitation procedures.  You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

Developing and maintaining Food Safety & Quality Assurance programs including, but not limited to: Formula Control, Allergen Control, Non-Conforming, Recall, Sanitation Effectiveness, Environmental Monitoring Organic, Pest Control and Food Safety PlansManaging, developing, coaching and mentoring Quality Assurance and Sanitation leaders/supervisorsEstablishing plant operating and capital budgets for quality - identifying projects that impact quality and food safety and are part of the facility capital planAssuring implementation and utilization of SPC system, including Infinity QS, which will allow for real time process control and data driven decision making by operatorsManaging consumer complaints, establishing trending, implementing corrective actions and responding appropriately to all investigation requestsLeading, supporting and maintaining facility GFSI Certification (SQF), Kosher and RSPO certifications

About You:

A Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in technical studies such as chemistry, food science or related fieldsFive years’ quality assurance experience with 1-2 years demonstrated leadership abilityUnderstanding of statistical analysis, precision measurement, process capability studies, chemistry, and food processesAbility to read and write in-depth policies, procedures and related materialsAbility to maintain the highly confidential nature of product process and employee privacy information
