You will work with key partners to ensure that food safety requirements are accurately translated into raw material, process and product specifications in a timely manner, provide basic food safety requirements advice to key stakeholders, and direct detailed technical questions to the Food Safety Team experts.

What you need to know about this position:
Purpose of the Role
You will be working in our North American Spec System, Foods Connected along with our Global Food Safety team. You will be accountable for food safety assessments of materials, specification reviews and approvals and gathering food safety data from our suppliers for creation of new specifications during the integration and build phase.
Main Responsibilities
• Accountable for food safety assessments of materials and specifications approvals across all regions and categories
• Collate, manage and interpret supplier information to decide on food safety requirements.
• Consult with Subject Matter Experts on any information concerning food safety data in the specification.
• Build food safety specifications to facilitate the transfer of Food Safety data into relevant specifications.
Candidate Requirements
• Microbiology/Food Technology/Food Safety related degree.
• Relevant food safety requirement experience in at least one of the following: microbiological hazards, thermal processing, or allergens.
• Attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• Good communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Microsoft teams) and to be IT competent
• Advanced English (C1/C2)
