BACKGROUND:Caseworker Intern is part of the Casework team and takes on refugee cases that require closer care and attention. The Intern will work with the team to provide ongoing assistance to refugee clients as part of holistic case management. The intern will assist the caseworker in providing services to the client. Specifically, the intern will focus on coordinating and providing grocery store orientations to newly arrived refugees, educating clients on how to use SNAP benefits, and forming a partnership with the New Roots Program to provide nutrition education.
