**Job Title: Food Server** **Job Description** Summary/Objective: Your role as a server is one of the most important jobs in our department. You will be representing the department at events and/or in a restaurant-style atmosphere. You will be greeting our guests and interacting with them throughout their time with us. **Essential Functions:** • Supports the culinary team in creating a culture that is Resident/Patient directed, focused on identifying and highlighting customer needs, creating an environment that promotes exceptional service. • Supports service recovery plans when needed. • Meets scheduled meal and event times. • Takes meal orders, arranges trays, and serves the person with front and back of the house in a professional and concise manner. • Follows cleaning schedules and performs cleaning duties as scheduled. • Follows defined Infection Control policies and procedures. • Be knowledgeable of Federal, State, and Facility’s rules, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to job. • Performs other department duties or special assignments as directed by the Culinary Services Facility Director or designee. **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. **Work Environment** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to temperature and humidity changes as in entering refrigerated storage areas, working near ovens, ranges, dish-washing machines, and at steam tables.
