Overview We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and customer-oriented Food Server to join our team. As a Food Server, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests receive an exceptional dining experience by providing excellent service, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive atmosphere and building customer loyalty. Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly, warm, and welcoming attitude. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are correct. Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation and accuracy. Provide recommendations on menu items, specials, and drinks, based on guest preferences. Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints promptly. Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including clearing and resetting tables. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments accurately. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure food is prepared and served in accordance with company standards. Assist with refilling beverages, condiments, and any special requests. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of food and beverages. Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service, addressing any special dietary needs or concerns. Keep track of guest preferences and repeat customers to ensure a personalized experience. Support other team members and help with cleaning, stocking, and setting up dining areas as needed. Qualifications Previous experience as a food server or in a customer service role is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong multitasking and organizational skills. Ability to carry heavy trays or plates and stand for long periods. Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant etiquette. Flexible schedule, with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented approach.
