Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to: + Services guests in the restaurant according to specific department procedures + Sets up stations, does sidework and other opening and closing duties, as directed by the Restaurant Manager + Assists with arranging the room and setting tables for special events, as needed Secondary Duties and Responsibilities: + Participates in the cashier function + Up-sells products and uses endorsements at all appropriate service opportunities + May be asked to fill in as a Bartender, as needed + Maintains a clean and sanitary work area Minimum Education and Qualifications: + Previous food serving experience + Must have experience in a fast paced, upscale, high volume environment + Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers in English Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position: + Basic knowledge of spirits, beers, wines and beverage service techniques Training Requirements: + Knowledge of Mohegan Sun corporate and department policies and procedures + Food and restaurant concept knowledge Physical Demands and Work Environment: + Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time + Fast paced kitchen environment + Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with the job.
