**Overview** **HonorHealth Rehabilitation Hospital** ***In affiliation with Select Medical*** Scottsdale, AZ **Food Service Aide /Dietary Aide** **PRN/ per diem / as needed** **Rate: $19.00 per hour** Do you enjoy preparing delicious food? Would you like to help patients who are recovering from a serious injury or illness? Come use your skills to provide great patient care in our Banner Rehab Hospital. As a food service aide, you will perform a variety of services in the kitchen and cafeteria. You will be an integral part of every step of the process: preparing food, taking meal order for patients, and assisting in clean up. **Responsibilities** **Your responsibilities:** You will perform a variety of patient food services, dining room services and dish room services. You will be an integral part of the food preparations, serving of the prepared food to patients, families, staff and visitors and assisting in clean up. + Providing quality work, showing knowledge of the job and good decision making. + Being timely and efficient when preparing food. + Providing high quality food preparation and service. + Completing all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work. + Volunteering to help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary. + Demonstrating reliability and dependability in your work. + Operating equipment and performing related duties in a safe manner. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Must be 18 years or older **Preferred Qualifications:** + Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling + Healthcare/ restaurant experience + Commitment to customer service + Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work alongside the culinary team and leaders **Bring your talents and work with our amazing food service team!** **Additional Data** _**Select Medical is committed to having a workforce that reflects diversity at all levels and is an equal opportunity employer.
