Position summary: The Food Service Brand Coordinator is a lead position that effectively and professionally trains and develop all food service positions on our culture, policies, and procedures. This position interacts and builds relationships with our customers and follows up on various duties. This position will be responsible for traveling to assigned Cravin’s to Order locations throughout the chain to build best practices around food service safety. This position is also responsible for building a culture of enthusiasm around our food services. Additionally, this position is responsible for coaching situational awareness to others in all aspects of store operations, not limited to only food service. This position will work closely with the Food Service Brand Manager, Food Service Category Manager, and the operations team.

Role Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must pass all competency tests. Must have at least a High School diploma or equivalent.  


Position Responsibilities:

Work closely with Food Service Category Manager, Food Service Brand Manager, and operations teams to understand current and upcoming projects and programs Ensures consistency in the execution of the Cravin’s To Order brandAssists the Cravin’s To Order Brand Manager with proper inventory and waste management at all food service locationsFollow up on all Shift Duty Checklists completed by FS Specialists and communicates any concerns to the store managerFollow up on newly hired graduates of food service training to ensure their comfort and knowledge of food service safety and recipe integrity Follow up on all cleanliness and sanitation duties outlined in the Shift Duty Checklists and Weekly Duty Checklists at all food service locationsEnsures procedures are standardized at all locations; ensure stores do not “invent” solutions or procedures that are not universal throughout all locations Ensure that equipment maintenance and operation of all refrigeration, ovens, and POS equipment is operable and report conditions that are a concernFollow up daily that all line checks are being completed ensuring the freshest quality products are only being served.Ensure the product rotation, organization, and correct labeling of products are being practiced.Validate that the daily prep sheet and order guide are being completed accurately and provide feedback to the FS specialist as well as the store manager.In-depth understanding of all food service equipment; ability to anticipate potential problems in equipment and understanding of the periodic maintenance required to avoid equipment down timePossess a thorough understanding of the menu and able to build enthusiasm about the menu items with teams and customersCoach and hold accountability of others to prepare food orders accurately and to specification always ensuring recipe integrityUnderstands and adheres to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during food preparation, service, and clean upComply with company policies, procedures, standards, and specifications for all food being prepared.Assists with food service training as assigned in the Valparaiso or Lafayette Training CentersAssists with special events inside and outside the organizationBuilds RelationshipsPromotes Living Brand and serves as Product Brand AdvocateAdditional assignments to be assigned Requirements

Physical demands and work environment:

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for prolonged periods; work longer than eight (8) hour shifts, reach, climb, balance, stoop, mop, sweep, change garbage, kneel, crouch; talk and hear; taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.Work Environment: Must have flexibility to work all shifts, all days of the week, when necessary. Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures for minimum of 30-minute intervals. Exposure to cleaning solvents.
