ResponsibilitiesPreps daily breakfast and lunch items per the weekly menuTakes orders from guests and prepares items accordinglyServes guests in an efficient, friendly mannerEnsures all food is at the correct temperature and logged into the temperature bookUses approved recipes and productions standards to ensure a consistent, quality productCarries pots and pans of food to and from workstations, stove and refrigeratorStores food in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating, labeling and food safety rotation proceduresCleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensilsPerforms other duties as assigned by Holtec Café Management RequirementsPositive, helpful attitude toward customers, including the ability to speak clearly and convey information accuratelyTeam playerAbility to work a flat top, fryer, grill and other kitchen equipmentBasic food knowledgeBasic math and reading skillsCapable of lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting and standing for long periods of timeKnowledge of register operation, including cash, credit cards and register receiptsMust have ability to work with and lead other crew members, as well as the ability to take direction from Supervisor/Manager.SERV safe certification is a plus, but not a requirement The work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
