Sodexo Seniors is seeking a Food Service Manager 2 for Iroquois Skilled Nursing Community in Jamesville, NY.    Iroquois Nursing is a state-of-the-art community that offers residents the very best in rehabilitative services in a comfortable, homelike setting.  This position will oversee all dining room operations for the approximately 160 skilled, rehab and memory care residents.  Will report to the General Manager and must have the ability to work a schedule that rotates every other weekend.  

What You'll Do oversee the day-to-day food service operations for the senior living residents; manage and develop a team of associates to include training and daily scheduling;ensure food quality, safety and presentation of the residents meals;collaborate with other departments to enhance the resident dining experience. What You Bring two or more years of food service management experience in the restaurant or senior living industry;  prior catering experience a plus; a passion for food service and a high level of customer service; strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with seniors in an active, fast-paced environment; andhave working knowledge of HACCP protocols for regulatory compliance.
