Position Overview: \n

The Supervisor - Nutrition & Dining manages the shift including production, service and retail operations to ensure the highest quality service to our patients, visitors, employees and guests while adhering to all regulatory requirements put forth by local, state and federal agencies.\n

What you'll do: \n\nStaff supervision\nAdherence to all local, state and federal safety and sanitation codes\nVendor management, including periodic review to ensure highest quality and value\nCatering\nAccounts Receivable and Accounts Payable including End of Month, End of Year documentation and recordkeeping, billing for catering, floor stocks and other interdepartmental transfers\nFood cost analysis \nEffective communication and demonstration of team-based management.\nSubject Matter Expert (SME) using food service management software\nRetail\/cash handling\nIs flexible in assuming other appropriate responsibilities, not noted above.\n\n

Required Skills and Experience\n\nExperience - Minimum of 1 year of supervisor-level experience in food service, preferably in an acute care setting.\nLicensure - Not required\n\n

Preferred Skills and Experience\n\nEducation - 2-year degree in Nutrition, Food Service Management, Business Administration or related field.\nRD, CDM, CFPP preferred\nExperience working in a healthcare environment\nServsafe or Food Safety Manager certified\nCooking experience\n\n
\n

Physical Requirements\n\nStanding for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, pushing, pulling and reaching. May be exposed to areas of extreme heat or cold. Primary work location may include loud noises, wet and slippery conditions, exposure to sharp objects. A licensed ability to drive may be necessary.\n\n

Compensation Disclosure\n\n$21.83 - $26.63 per hour\n\n
