The Food Service Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervision of staff to ensure quality of food and service to all patients and customers using DHSS, JCAHO, HACCP and Trinity guidelines and policies. Scheduling, payroll, assisting management with paperwork and reporting. Assist and involved with employee disciplinary action. Ability to handle and respond to customer complaints in a timely and professional manner. Cash register control and money procurement, bank deposits and change orders. Training and development of employees. Responsible for departmental opening and closing procedures. Fill in and assist wherever needed in the absence of hourly employees.
Minimum Qualifications:
2 Years college or equivalent
Able to follow oral and written instructions
Customer service oriented
Effectively communicates with patients, customers, and staff
Ability to do advanced math
Able to work with minimal supervision and alone
Needs to be computer literate
3-5 years' work experience in related field
Ability to interact professionally with kitchen and supervisory staff
Must have general working knowledge of therapeutic diets
