SCRMC Food Service TEAM LEADER JOB SUMMARY Job Description SCRMC Position Title: Team Leader Reports to: Dietary Manager Job Duties • Make sure doors are open at scheduled time. • Keep food on serving line. • Make sure food looks fresh. • Temperatures on food must be taken and recorded. • All areas must be kept neat and clean. • Dish room person stock milk cooler, juice machine, and help bring food up to serving line. • Cashier will set up salad bar and fruit bar. • Team leader will answer all questions from customers. If there are any complaints, talk to the customer apologize and try to correct the problem on the spot. o Customer- “Sir my French fries are cold” o Team leader- “Sir I’m sorry. We can send you some hot fries, and it will only take a few minutes for them to cook.” • Serve the customer with a smile and apologize for any inconveniences. • Make sure all areas are cleaned, all trash emptied, sneeze guards and serving line washed and sanitized, all floors swept and mopped, rugs swept, soup warmers turned off, hot box turned off, grill, deep fryers, stove, toaster, and hood should all be turned off. • All tables clean and chairs pushed in. • Make sure the lights are turned off. • Make sure the money is deposited. • Make sure the doors are locked. • Dish room person will mop dining room floor at 10:00. • Cashier mop floors in dining room at the end of shift. • Make sure all carts are cleaned at the end of each shift. Minimum Qualifications ? Must be at least 18 years old. ? Must understand English very well. ? Must be able to read and write. ? Must be neat in appearance.
