The Food Service Worker position has direct responsibility for the upkeep and sanitation of the kitchen areas. In addition to cleaning and sanitation, the Food Service Worker will be responsible for minimal preparation of food items alongside cooking staff for daily meal service.
Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for sanitation and upkeep of the kitchen areas.
• Responsible for minimal preparation of food items for daily meal service.
• Responsible for assisting kitchen personnel in preparing and cooking food items to fulfill program needs.
• Delivering and serving meals to campus youth and employees.
• Collecting all food products needed to set up assigned stations.
• Operating all food production equipment safely and following all food production standards for required items.
Job Requirements
Minimum of a High School diploma required No previous experience needed – we provide all necessary training. Experience in school or residential setting preferred CPR/First Aid certified or ability to become certified Varicella Vaccine required OR titers indicating varicella immunity OR documentation from a healthcare provider verifying previous infection. MMR (Measles Mumps & Rubella vaccine required OR titers indicating immunity to all three diseases. Tdap (Tetanus-diptheria-pertussis) vaccine required. Influenza vaccine required, one dose annually during flu season. Physical (Medical Exam) required. Must be able to work 9AM-5PM during new hire orientation to complete TCI(Therapeutic Crisis Intervention), CPR and Sanctuary training. Must maintain TCI and CPR certification. Required to be 21 years or older. Must have a current and valid driver's license with acceptable driving history to the Agency Ability to work with an economically and culturally diverse population.
Pay & Sign on Bonus
$1,000 sign on bonus $16.81 per hour
Schedule
Sunday - Thursday 10 am - 6 pm;Friday & Saturday OFF
