DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and cooking food items in bulk quantities according to menu specifications. Work includes following recipes, preparing modified diets, ordering supplies, ensuring proper food requisition and preparation, as well as ensuring compliance with recipes alongside the Cook II. You will have the opportunity to instruct volunteers, package bulk food items, maintain food temperatures, operate kitchen equipment, clean dishes, maintain sanitation standards, attend training sessions, participate in tray line activities, and perform related tasks as needed.
