**Job Summary:** The Food Service Worker is responsible for performing a variety of patient, cafeteria and catering services functions that may include patient visitation, tray assembly, distribution and service, general sanitation, cleaning and use of kitchen equipment and pantries. **Job Requirements** : **Education and Training** : High school graduate or equivalent **Skills & Abilities** : Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to patients, customers and other associates of the facility. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
