**Part Time Food Services Worker** **6 month contract role** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Food Services Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be creating and preparing food items based on specific orders, stocking/restocking materials, cleaning/washing dishes, operating a cashier if needed, and providing exceptional customer service to guests. You will also perform other miscellaneous tasks as required. **Responsibilities** + Create and prepare food items based on specific orders. + Perform meal assembly. + Stock and restock materials as needed. + Clean and wash dishes. + Operate cashier when needed. + Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and hospital staff. + Perform a variety of food service tasks including dishwashing, food preparation, grilling, deli serving, and operating the cash register. + Spend time in the storage room and stock up kitchen goods, lifting up to 40 lbs as needed. + Help in dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitizing kitchen utensils and dishes. + Work with sanitization chemicals. **Essential Skills** + Experience in food service, food handling, and food preparation. + Ability to transcribe patient diets from a computer and write them on paper for tray passing and inventory of food items. + Valid Food Handler Card. + Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English. + Strong customer service skills. + Ability to take instructions, comprehend, and follow through on tasks. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull 25 pounds. + Must be able to concentrate on moderate detail with some interruption. + Must be open to working weekends. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working in a hospital or fast food environment. **Why Work Here?** Join a supportive and dynamic team that values hard work and dedication.
