Our client in the Tallahassee, Florida area is looking to hire a Food Service Worker for their location. No previous experience is needed for this position, but it is preferred. Responsibilities include cutting fruits, vegetables, preparing salads, and sandwiches. Assist the cafeteria cook and manager with daily functional needs required daily.

The Day-to-Day:

Assisting with cooking tasks as neededWarming up pre-cooked foodSetting up the serving line with food itemsDispensing food onto trays or platesOperating food service equipment like steam tablesHandling cash transactions (depending on the role)Washing dishes and utensilsCleaning and sanitizing work surfaces and equipmentMaintaining cleanliness of the cafeteria areaSweeping and mopping as necessary

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaNo previous experience is requiredAttention to detail

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$14.00 to $15.00 /hr9:00 AM to 1:00 PMor10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
