Summary This position is located within the Fort Eisenhower Business Operations Division. Hours of operation will be identified upon interview with hiring official. Responsibilities Performs a variety of routine manual tasks in a kitchen or dining area; sets up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, condiments, and cold menu items such as salads, desserts, bread, and cold beverages. Prepares food by sorting, washing, peeling, and cutting fresh fruit and vegetables. Operates, break downs, and cleans all equipment assigned to the area for food preparation. Separates food waste and trash from dishes and loads and operates dishwasher. Vacuums and shampoos carpets; sweeps and mops kitchen floors, cleans windows, walls, trash cans and disposes of trash. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
