Full time (80 hours biweekly)
Monday - Friday Starting as early as 545am or working as late as 8pm (Flex)

Starting pay rate: $17.00/hr + pay for experience
General Summary
Performs a variety of routine duties related to the preparation and serving of food, along with cleanup tasks, including provides outstanding customer service to patients, staff, and visitors; assembles and delivers patient trays; prepares equipment, foods and beverages and restocks for service in the cafeteria and other retail/café locations; cleans up after meals following established practices and procedures. May operate cash register as needed including receiving payments, balancing the cash drawer after each meal and compiling information for required reports.

Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Participates in training, educational programs and in-service meetings. Provides outstanding customer service to all patient, staff and customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation. Wipes off counters and tables; arranges, rearranges, and replenishes items as needed. Cleans the kitchen area and cooking utensils. Operates cash register, as needed, including receiving payment from visitors and staff, balancing the cash drawer after each meal and compiling information for required reports. Assists with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
