Summary

Job Specific Duties:

Perform all Cashier functions, cleans tables and maintains Cafeteria. Prepares and serves food, demonstrating knowledge of standards for food preparation, serving and portions. Performs proper rotation during restocking line to ensure high quality and appropriate temperature. Assists in the assembly of all flatware and kitchenware. Answer guest questions in the Cafeteria. Responsible for setup, breakdown, and sanitation of all patient tray line equipment and serving areas while ensuring high quality food served at appropriate temperature. Demonstrate knowledge of infection prevention and sanitation with food temperatures, refrigeration temperatures, dating of foods, equipment cleaning, hand washing, use of gloves and proper ppe. Plans, provides and maintains a safe environment for patients, staff and families. Demonstrates proper rotation during restocking line to ensure high quality and appropriate temperature. Work is completed according to established procedures, policies and protocols. Must maintain a clean and organized workspace and cleanliness standards. Must maintain daily HACCP logs.

 

Minimum Experience Required

 6 months previous experience in food production, service and cashier is required.  Work experience in non-food service business may be substituted where applicable.  Demonstrate working knowledge of food service equipment for food production and service.  Ability to follow oral/written instructions and communicate effectively (speaking and reading) in English. Preferred Education: HS Diploma/GED, not required.
