**About the Role**
Adecco is hiring a **Food Technology Specialist** to provide strategic leadership in food technology, product technical services, and quality maintenance. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with expertise in **food science, process improvement, and technical troubleshooting** to drive innovation and efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities**
β Evaluate and recommend new processes, equipment, and technologies.
β Lead teams to develop and optimize product processes while controlling costs.
β Oversee projects in both internal and external manufacturing plants.
β Provide leadership in troubleshooting product and processing issues.
β Optimize manufacturing processes across multiple locations to enhance quality and efficiency.
β Conduct pilot plant development work and plant trials for new products.
β Reformulate products to maintain quality while reducing costs.
β Prepare and maintain material specification documents.
β Audit plant batching operations and analyze consumer feedback to improve quality.
β Train and mentor Product Development Specialists.
β Ensure compliance with labeling and regulatory requirements.
β Travel as needed to support business objectives.
**Qualifications**
πΉ **Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelorβs degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Bakery Science, or a related field.
+ 5+ years of progressive technical experience in the food industry.
+ Strong background in product development or plant production for complex/high-risk product categories.
+ Excellent project management, problem-solving, and execution skills.
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

+ 5+ years of experience in product development, technical service, or plant production across multiple food/non-food categories.

**Pay Details:** $52.90 per hour
