Sales Manager, Force Measurement
Your role and responsibilitiesDevelop and increase sales of Force Measurement (FM) in assigned territoriesCollaborate with engineering team to develop customized solutions for FM productsTravel 50 to 70 percent in assigned territory for customer visits and presentationsCollaborating with other departments to prepare bids, gather technical specifications and financial accuracyWorking with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunitiesUnderstanding the customers’ needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutionsMonitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities
Qualifications for the roleBachelor's degree or Associates degree in Electrical, Mechanical or job experience equivalent 2 plus years of experience in sales, sales support, maintenance or operationsKnowledge or understanding of mechanical and electrical industrial equipment. A plus would be automation or process control understanding in either the Paper or Metals marketThe proven ability to develop and manage customer accountsA team focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skillsCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
