FORECLOSURE SPECIALIST
Description
•\tPrepare audit folder and assemble all required documents with flags at the conclusion of the foreclosure process.
•\tReview and process daily approved invoices for Foreclosure department and dispute payment if it exceeds guidelines.
•\tProcess refunds of deposits.
•\tPrepares and distributes sales results notifications to investors and senior management as needed.
•\tPerform internet research to identify utilities and HOAs; make any corresponding payments and transfer accounts as necessary.
•\t Make photocopies and file documents upon request.
•\tDistribute and process department mail.
•\tUpdate data in internal systems with status.
•\tCreate summaries and spreadsheets upon request.
•\tPerform other duties as assigned.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
•\tHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred, along with at least two total years of experience in an administrative role in consumer mortgage industry/in a back office financial services environment, preferably in mortgage defaults.
•\tHighly organized and detail oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment required.
•\tPrior experience preparing certified mail preferred.
•\tBasic proficiency with data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
•\tPrior experience using the internet to perform basic searches to obtain information.
•\t10-key by touch preferred.
•\tPrior experience using document retention software; Blitzdoc preferred.
•\tProfessional and pleasant demeanor.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.60 - $29.60
