BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join International Trade Analyst at our SLP PDS Plant in Mexico.
In this role, the International Trade Analyst is responsible to ensure the correct Import/Export of materials and fixed assets, complying with current customs legislation, as well as obtain the applicable benefits and guarantee compliance with obligations. Carry out sea, air and land export operations, review and provide information to customs agents in a timely manner within the legal scope, as well as the administration and control of the formal entry. Carry out the process of virtual operations with customers and suppliers in a timely manner, always within the legal scope, carry out air imports through the different customs, monitor imports through hand carriers, as well as the administration and control of the formal entry.
Key Accountabilities
Monitor the validity of temporarily imported materials.
Keep track of overdue balance regime changes
Review the disclaimers for purposes of annex 24
Review and approve customs broker expense accounts.
Monitor changes in Foreign Trade Rules,
Customs Law and see the application/affectation for BORGWARER Oversee import and export operations (Land, Sea, Air)
Request payment of taxes (Customs Broker Financings)
Analysis and Issuance of Certificates of Origin (Mexico/FTA's)
Review of Metrics with Mexican Customs Brokers.
Generation of export documents.
Packaging exports, letter preparation, request for tax invoices
Review of inbond referrals. User support for export questions
Virtual operations of direct/indirect suppliers
Control of Digital Archiving of Export Declarations
Supervise the correct application of certificates of origin, eighth rules and prosec in imports
Direct/indirect virtual operations
Control of physical/electronic filing of declarations and proof of delivery of virtual
Control of spreadsheets and value manifestations
Part Number Classification with Customs Broker
Weekly fraction catalog review.
Tracking of air imports and hand carriers.
Control of sub-maquiladores and/or external warehouses (Registration, letters of guarantee, SAT Notice)
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce and International Business Time of experience in a similar position: Minimum 5 years in a similar position.
Technical knowledge required: IMMEX Knowledge, Customs Law, FTA Knowledge, RRNA, 8th Rules, NAFTA Analysis, ALADI, FTA, Central America, Inventory Control (Annex 24, Annex 31), Tariff Classification, Dealing with Mexican Customs Agents, Air, Land and Sea Imports/Exports, Special Operations, Virtual, ERP QAD/SAP
Other requirements: Microsoft Office, SAP
