**Now hiring! Foreign Trade & Contract Manufacturing Coordinator**
We are looking for a Foreign Trade & Contract Manufacturing Coordinator to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Research Triangle Park, NC.
This position offers a hybrid working arrangement - 3 days working out of our office in Research Triangle Park, NC and 2 days working remotely from home.

You will be responsible for coordinating the information and physical logistics flow of finished products to BASF regional and 3rd party customers, from receipt of the purchase order, through delivery of goods, to final invoicing of the customer and all functions of foreign trade associated with this process in a legally compliant manner. In addition, you will be expected to manage the inbound logistics for selected key raw materials from BASF internal and 3rd party suppliers. Lastly, you will work closely with global sourcing managers and be responsible for all operationally transactional activities associated with assigned contract manufacturers.
**As a Foreign Trade & Contract Manufacturing Coordinator, you create chemistry by...**
+ Working collaboratively with supply chain managers to review, prioritize, and coordinate the supply and physical logistics of finished products to regional and third-party customers using appropriate modes of transport, i.e., ocean, rail, truck, or air if needed.
+ Employing your strong communication skills to effectively work with Lead Logistics Partners, Logistics Service Providers, and other stakeholders (e.g., warehouse, manufacturing sites, sourcing, and supplier contacts) to ensure required transport activities are organized for all shipments.
+ Liaising between BASF and commercial partners/contract manufacturers by managing and monitoring raw material supply, consumption, and finished goods production.Reporting campaign progress and supporting sourcing managers in campaign reconciliation.
+ Committing to customer satisfaction as you receive, process, and follow up on customer complaints/nonconformance management documentation.
+ Your passion for operational efficiency and proven success in conceiving and implementing continuous process improvement ideas are valuable assets to the success of the team.
+ Taking ownership, being accountable, and proactively communicating with customers are key ingredients to success in providing excellent customer experience in this dynamic global supply chain environment.
**If you...**
+ Have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain/Business Management, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
+ Bachelors degree with 5+ years of experience, Masters degree with 3+ years of experience, or PhD with 1+ years of experience.
+ Years of experience should be in logistics, production planning, or customer service. Foreign trade experience is a plus.
+ Are a demonstrated quick learner and effective communicator, as well as having excellent time management skills.
+ Have experience with SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in managing foreign trade transactions is preferred.
