**Job Title: Journeyman Plumber**
**Job Description**
The Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for performing plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks according to company standards and local building codes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks in accordance with company standards and local building codes.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
+ Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.
+ Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs.
+ Collaborate with construction professionals such as carpenters and electricians to ensure the proper installation of plumbing systems.
+ Use hand tools and power tools to perform plumbing tasks.
+ Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
+ Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
**Essential Skills**
+ Valid Journeyman Plumber license
+ Minimum of 5 years of plumbing experience
+ Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
+ Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve plumbing issues
+ Excellent communication and customer service skills
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with construction, carpentry, and mechanical systems
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints
+ Proficiency with hand tools and power tools

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes on-site construction settings with exposure to various weather conditions. You will work with a team of dedicated professionals using a range of hand tools and power tools. The position may require lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods. Appropriate safety gear and attire are required on-site.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.
