**Job Title: Plumbing Foreman**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Foreman to direct the installation of plumbing and related systems, equipment, and fixtures. The individual will be responsible for planning, laying out, participating in, and supervising plumbing work on job sites and in the shop. The role involves working with considerable independence, except on large construction and modification projects, where some technical supervision is provided. Work assignments for maintenance and repair are received through Teams Construction software, written job requests, and emergency calls. The work is reviewed primarily by users of the equipment and systems through observation and conferences while projects are in progress and upon completion. Construction and remodeling work is reviewed for compliance with specifications and building codes. The work is performed under general direction and supervision from leads on-site.
**Responsibilities**
+ Direct the installation of plumbing and related systems, equipment, and fixtures.
+ Plan, lay out, participate in, and supervise plumbing work on job sites and in the shop.
+ Receive work assignments for maintenance and repair through Teams Construction software, written job requests, and emergency calls.
+ Ensure compliance with specifications and building codes on construction and remodeling projects.
+ Analyze defects in plumbing equipment and determine necessary repairs.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, rough plans, sketches, drawings, and broken parts to lay out work.
+ Run with helpers to install storm or sanitary systems and work with water and temporary water lines.
+ Lay out and mark areas for plumbing installations.
**Essential Skills**
+ Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment of the plumbing trade.
+ Ability to analyze defects in plumbing equipment and determine necessary repairs.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and lay out work from prints, rough plans, sketches, drawings, and broken parts.
+ Experience with cast iron and PVC installations.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools for plumbing tasks.
+ Ability to work independently on smaller projects and under supervision on larger projects.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Cast iron experience is a big plus.
+ Experience in running storm or sanitary systems with helpers.
+ Knowledge of working with water and temporary water lines.
+ Ability to lay out and mark areas for plumbing installations.

**Work Environment**
The position is based in Parsippany, NJ, where you will join a team of skilled plumbing mechanics and junior mechanics. The work environment includes working on various construction sites, adhering to safety protocols, and utilizing modern construction technologies and equipment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montville, New Jersey.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $45.00
