Combo Welder / Pipe Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder for the production welding of tubular products made from steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The products will be manufactured according to customer drawings, specifications, or other provided instructions. The role involves interpreting mechanical drawings and instructions to set up welds correctly and executing proper welding for metal parts.

ResponsibilitiesPerform TIG welding for production of tubular products as per customer specifications.Read and interpret mechanical drawings to correctly set up welds.Execute proper welding techniques for metal parts, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.Conduct process inspections, certifications, and documentation.Use manual and power tools for grinding parts as necessary.Engage in frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting, and lifting for 8-12 hours per day.Essential SkillsProficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.Expertise in TIG welding, specifically for stainless steel and process piping.Experience in pipe fitting and combo welding.Knowledge of sanitary process piping and weld purging.Minimum of 2 years of experience in TIG welding.Experience with unlimited 6g full TIG welding.Proficient in welding 12-20 gauge stainless steel.Additional Skills & QualificationsProvide certifications specific to GTAW (TIG) welding.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will be working at a dairy manufacturing facility located off of Loop 303 & McDowell Road. Our client also has work opportunities outside of the valley, offering per diem for such assignments. The typical workweek is 50 hours, from Monday to Saturday, with a 5 am start time and 10-hour shifts, including Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00
