**Job Title: Foreman** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Foreman to construct shaded structures for commercial buildings. This role involves leading a team, managing construction tasks, and ensuring the quality and safety of the work performed. **Responsibilities** + Construct shaded structures for commercial buildings + Excavate material as required + Set columns in place + Pour concrete for footings (36" round and 10 feet deep) + Install and secure structural steel + Handle custom installation tasks + Install ladders and ensure stability using levels + Perform electrical work if shades include lighting + Lead and supervise laborers + Read and interpret construction drawings + Communicate effectively with team members **Essential Skills** + Concrete work + Carpentry + Structural steel installation + Reading and interpreting blueprints + Leadership skills + Communication skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Laborer: 1+ year outdoor construction experience + Foreman: 5+ years of well-rounded carpentry, concrete, and steel experience + Leadership experience + Valid driver's license + Ability to manage laborers + Proficiency with smartphones and basic computer skills + Expense tracking and report generation skills **Why Work Here?** Join a well-established company with 15 years of industry experience. The team is well-informed of the job site the day before and possible travel outside Phoenix is done using a company vehicle. Report to the shop before each shift begins. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
