Job Description
We are seeking a skilled foreman to direct the installation of plumbing and related systems, equipment, and fixtures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, laying out, participating in, and supervising plumbing work on job sites and in the shop. This position requires considerable independence, except on large construction and modification projects where some technical supervision is provided. Maintenance and repair assignments are received through Teams Construction software, written job requests, or emergency calls. Work is reviewed by users of the equipment and systems through observation and conferences while projects are in progress and upon completion. Construction and remodeling work is reviewed for compliance with specifications and building codes. The foreman will perform duties under general direction and supervision from leads on site.
ResponsibilitiesDirect the installation of plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures.Plan, lay out, and supervise plumbing work on job sites and in the shop.Analyze defects in plumbing equipment and determine necessary repairs.Read and interpret blueprints, rough plans, sketches, drawings, and broken parts.Work with water and temporary water lines.Lay out and mark plumbing installations and run with helpers to manage storm or sanitary systems.Essential SkillsThorough knowledge of plumbing practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment.Ability to analyze defects in plumbing equipment and determine necessary repairs.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and laying out work from plans.Experience with cast iron systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with underground plumbing, rough plumbing, and PVC installations.Ability to use mechanical hand tools effectively.Experience with risers and plumb installations.Cast iron experience is a significant plus.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $46.00
