**Welder Foreman** **Paying $33 / HR - $40 / HR** **Location - Portland, OR** **Responsibilities:** + Foreman for shop welding and fabricating structural steel. Aiding in layout and fitting, quality and accuracy of layout prior to welding, supervising fabrication personnel across a variety of shops. Managing scopes of projects from estimating, production planning, fabrication and shipping/coordinating for install or delivery. Supervision of shop employees, planning and allocating labor to meet fabrication deadlines. **Qualifications:** + Must be proficient in all aspects of welding and fitting structural work - does not need to be an excellent welder if they are rusty, but must have the previous experience in order to coach and develop others, as well as pay attention to quality and work with quality team. **Environment/ Shift:** + shop does structural projects but also supports national operations for structural conveying systems used in mining. The majority of projects done out of this shop will be supporting structural/architectural/construction projects. Our facility has a state of the art computer drafting & modeling department located on our 10-acre campus. + Day Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm. **Employee Value Proposition:** + Great company culture, very little turnover with core crew.
