Job Title: Foreman***

Pay: $35/hour dependent on experience

Job Description

As a Foreman, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems on industrial projects, including shipbuilding, construction, and manufacturing. You will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to follow strict safety guidelines.

ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair piping systems, including pipe, valves, and fittings.Cut, bend, and weld pipe according to blueprints and specifications.Troubleshoot and diagnose piping system problems.Follow safety guidelines and procedures.Work as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget.Essential SkillsPipe welding experience in industrial settings.Proficiency in stick, pipe, TIG, and 6G welding techniques.Knowledge of commercial construction and TIG welding.Experience in shutdowns.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Foreman or in a related field.Journeyman Foreman license or equivalent certification.Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques and practices.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong work ethic and attention to detail.Completion of a paper test in the shop.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will be working on various construction jobs throughout Hampton Roads, including the Ameresco job in Norfolk. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 4 PM, with some Saturdays required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
