**Job Title: Foreman** **Job Description** We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the environmental and construction fields, with significant experience in operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and dozers. This role requires a keen attention to safety and the ability to perform various tasks related to soil management and remediation projects. **Responsibilities** + Operate and maintain Excavators, Loaders, Dozers, and other heavy equipment. + Perform soil screening, soil moving, and soil processing operations. + Load trucks with excavated soil. + Excavate soil and remove tanks. + Dig 4-foot ditches and test pits using a Backhoe. + Stockpile soil and perform remediation site work. + Participate in landfill construction projects. + Follow outlined assignments and standard procedures provided by supervisors. + Ensure constant attention to safety to prevent accidents. + Work in tight areas with precision. **Essential Skills** + 40 Hour OSHA - HAZWOPPER certification. + 3+ years of experience in environmental/construction fields. + Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as Excavators, Dozers, and Loaders. + Clean driving record. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with environmentally related projects is preferred. + Primary experience with Excavators and Dozers. + Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus. + Experience with CAT or Komatsu equipment. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team that values safety, skill, and dedication. The main office is located in Carteret, NJ. The team consists of about 30 employees, including project managers, equipment operators, and field technicians. Projects are located throughout New Jersey and the Tri-State area, with some assignments requiring travel to other states such as Maryland. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carteret, New Jersey. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $33.00/hr.
