Job Description:We are currently seeking a Practice Management Manager for our Forensics Litigation and Valuations Services practice. Your responsibilities may include:
Financial Management
Assist with financial budgeting, forecasting and analysis
Monitor chargeable hours, utilization, overtime, and travel
Management of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Work in Process (WIP)
Provide Billing Support
Expense Management, including Sub-Contractors
Assist with research, special reports, etc.
Identify outliers, trends, and/or resolve potential issues
Business Development Support
Prepare Sales Pipeline Reports
Ensure Team’s compliance with Client opportunity tracking in Salesforce.com
Liaison with Consulting Marketing Teams
Prepare periodic report and presentations on key business development metrics
Resource / Talent Management / Scheduling
Work closely with Managers and Partners to ensure engagements are staffed appropriately
Gain an understanding of the skills and experiences of the associates along with their career goals and aspirations to ensure client assignments align accordingly
Ensure resource management system and skills database accuracy
Proactively communicate with Managers and Partners regarding available resources, scheduling conflicts, possible resource sharing, non-chargeable projects, etc.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports
Review pipeline report and identify potential staffing needs
Identify non-chargeable support roles & responsibilities needed for the Team
Recruiting/ Onboarding / Training
Liaison with Talent Management
Identify recruiting priorities (e.g., numbers / skills / levels / locations, etc.)
Support with onboarding efforts of incoming personnel
Plan and support the execution of the team’s training curriculum
Internal Projects and Initiatives
Coordinate the timely execution of business plan initiatives
Support the practice with weekly/ monthly/ annual events and meetings
Create and edit presentations and compose communications
Liaison with Firm’s Client Satisfaction process
Support the team with ad-hoc projects / requests
Participate in ad-hoc consulting or firm-wide projects
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field required
Four (4) to Eight (8) years of experience, with a minimum of two (2) years in the professional services industry preferred
Demonstrated analytical, organization, interpersonal, problem solving, project management and change management skills
Excellent written/verbal communications and collaboration skills
Ability to work on multiple projects with competing priorities while driving key deliverables.
Strong supervisory skills
Ability to build strong relationships across the organization, influence others and negotiate effectively
Ability to work in a fast paced team environment, conduct business in an ethical fashion, and maintain confidentiality when appropriate
Demonstrated level of technical proficiency with Microsoft Office 2010, Word, Excel and PowerPoint at the Intermediate or Advanced levels
Self-starter, with initiative/leadership, and able to work independently when needed
Integrity and respect within a professional environment
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to travel; potentially up 15%
The compensation range for this role is $95,360 to $206,610. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
