TheForensic Intervention Team (FIT) Managercombines leadership, clinical expertise, and community collaboration to improve outcomes for clients while building strong relationships with stakeholders across mental health, criminal justice, and family-serving systems. CCSI is partnering with Monroe County Office of Mental Health (MCOMH) to hire aForensic Intervention Team (FIT) Manager This position is employed by CCSI and working on behalf of Monroe County Office of Mental Health (MCOMH). In this role, you will be + Providing leadership and supervision to multidisciplinary FIT staff. + Overseeing general program functioning and operations in collaboration with the Community Mental Health Services Manager. + Maintaining communication and relationships with stakeholders (community providers, child, adult, family serving systems, the criminal justice system, ECD, Courts, Monroe County Jail, etc.) and clients to ensure connection to appropriate services best. + Directing supervisor to FIT Shift Leads, including providing clinical input, feedback and support as needed, in collaboration with the Community Mental Health Services Manager. + Building effective linkages and relationships to enhance collaboration with community supports, client serving systems, ECD/911, and law enforcement. + The critical point person for all law enforcement departments in Monroe County. + The FIT representative at the Law Enforcement Council (LEC), Multi-Jurisdictional Crisis Intervention Task Force (MJCITF). ROCTAC, and Mobile Team Meetings. + Identifying gaps and working to create/propose solutions at a practice and system level + Developing quality improvement process that utilizes data to assess the progress in meeting goals of the client connection to the behavioral health services and supports + Resolving problems with the appropriate team members using conflict resolution skills + Developing and implement clinical training within the team based on the team’s identification and supervisory assessment of needs and competencies + Responding to crisis and non-crisis calls with law enforcement upon dispatch from 911, as needed. + Supporting the Community Mental Health Services Manager with interdepartmental initiatives and planning functions within Monroe County Office of Mental Health. + Providing program coverage, as necessary. + Rotating on-call responsibility + Supporting other Monroe County Office of Mental Health program needs as they arise. + Other duties as assigned. Requirements Education and Experience + LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, Licensed Psychoanalyst, or doctorate in psychology, as documented by valid licensure from NYS ED Office of Professions, or… + Master’s degree in Forensic Science field plus minimum 5 years’ experience in mental health crisis intervention or mental health crisis response setting, or… + Psychiatric Registered Nurse or RN in mental health environment, as documented by valid licensure from NYS ED Office of Professions + Preferred Experience: direct behavioral health support or treatment in emergency/crisis; criminal justice/forensic; substance use disorders; developmental disabilities; and/or youth/family settings Additional Requirements + Satisfactory completion of all required background screenings. + Regular access to NYS registered, insured, and inspected vehicle for business purposes. + Minimum $300,000 personal liability on auto insurance policy. + Willing to carry police radio for communication and response during shift and on-call.
