Job Description
The Lead Cyber Forensics Investigator will serve as the companys principal cyber forensics expert, collaborating with Legal, Corporate Security Investigators, IT Security, Internal Investigations, Fraud Control, and other stakeholders. They will lead and conduct comprehensive digital investigations into cyber incidents, including data breaches, malware infections, network intrusions, and insider threats. This role involves gathering intelligence, preparing forensic reports, and presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders. The investigator will utilize advanced forensic tools and techniques to collect, preserve, analyze, and present digital evidence, and will be a key member of the incident response team, providing expertise and leadership during cybersecurity incidents. Additionally, they will mentor junior team members and collaborate with other teams to enhance the organizations overall cybersecurity posture.

Skills and Requirements
· 5+ years of experience as a Forensic Investigator at a financial institution or Fortune 500 company OR 3+ years at a government agency.
· Experience briefing in a courtroom or law firm setting, serving as an expert witness, and providing evidence.
· Skilled in seeking forensic evidence on corporate user devices or assets to support legal investigations.
· Proficient in cyber forensics, including the use of tools like Magnet Forensics, Axiom, and FTK.
Ability to communicate effectively with lawyers and handle high-pressure situations. · Experience working with foreign countries.
· Experience working with government agencies, preferably FBI or similar.
· Certifications from Celebrite, Encase, or similar.
· Familiarity with Magnet Forensics, Axiom, and FTK
· Active Security clearance
Degree in a relevant field (preferred but not required). null
