What You'll Do:
Production task execution: Follow process sheets, blueprints, or supervisor instructions to complete production tasks accurately. Quality inspection: Conduct visual inspections of forged parts for quality issues such as non-fill, trim burrs, punch marks, and mismatches. Efficient workflow: Meet production demands in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth workflow and timely task completion. Machine and work area maintenance: Maintain machines and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe working condition. Accuracy verification: Inspect operations against set tolerances to verify the accuracy of work performed. Safety protocols: Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the shift. Cross-departmental support: Assist other departments or areas as needed to ensure overall operational efficiency.What You'll Bring:
Work ethic and reliability: Demonstrates a strong work ethic with a dependable and positive attitude; commitment to working scheduled hours and following all company policies. Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading: Strong mechanical skills with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings (preferred). Mathematics and measurement skills: Solid math skills, including the ability to accurately use tape measures in both inches and metric measurements. Basic computer skills: Familiarity with Windows applications to support job functions. Communication and comprehension: Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English, with basic oral communication skills to complete simple logs and reports. Commitment to learning: Willingness to be trained and a desire to learn and develop skills in a trade. Physical stamina and strength: Ability to handle components up to 50 lbs., including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning parts, as well as standing consistently throughout the shift. Machining knowledge: Basic understanding of machining practices and materials (preferred). Teamwork and accuracy: Works well within a team setting, with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality.Your Schedule:
