Fork Lift Operator
**Job Title: Fork Lift Operator** **Job Description** Join our team as a Fork Lift Operator, where you'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, safe, and collaborative environment. Help us support farmers worldwide while protecting our planet. This role reports directly to the Production Specialist and involves operating forklifts to move products, equipment, or materials within the warehouse. You will maintain high safety standards and ensure accurate data entry using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). **Responsibilities** + Operate the forklift professionally and accident-free. + Conduct systematic maintenance and cleaning of the forklift. + Continuously track the location of goods during material handling using WMS. + Perform additional manual tasks as directed by the warehouse supervisor or team lead, such as sampling inventory and cleaning. + Keep the warehouse clean and tidy. + Ensure proper loading and unloading of transport vehicles during seed delivery and return season. + Maintain safety standards and follow emergency procedures when necessary. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience. + Ability to count accurately when moving inventory. + Ability to read scales. + Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented. + Alertness and awareness when operating the forklift safely. + Ability to communicate effectively and work independently or as part of a team. + Ability to operate the forklift in confined spaces. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1 year of warehouse experience. + Prior forklift certification is preferred. + Reliable transportation to the work site. + Enthusiasm, good attitude, honesty, and a willingness to treat everyone with respect. **Why Work Here?** We offer a dynamic and safe work environment where teamwork and collaboration are highly valued. Enjoy a regular Monday to Friday schedule with a supportive team and opportunities for growth. **Work Environment** Our work environment includes operating forklifts in a warehouse setting, with exposure to common allergens such as weed pollen, corn pollen, and corn dust. The role requires wearing steel toe work boots and long pants. Shifts are from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with hours subject to change based on business needs.
