**Job Title: Fork Lift Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fork Lift Operator to join our dynamic team. This position requires flexibility to work any day of the week and any time of day, with shifts potentially lasting up to 12 hours. The ideal candidate will be adept at operating forklifts, as well as stepping into machine operator roles when needed. **Responsibilities**
+ Operate the forklift professionally and accident-free while maintaining precise inspection records.
+ Systematically maintain and clean the forklift.
+ Track the location of goods during material handling using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ensure accurate data entry.
+ Perform manual tasks as directed by the warehouse supervisor or team lead, such as sampling inventory and cleaning.
+ Keep the warehouse clean and tidy.
+ During seed delivery and return seasons, ensure the proper loading and unloading of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations.
+ Maintain safety standards and follow emergency procedures when necessary.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1 year of forklift experience
+ 1 year of warehouse experience
+ Prior forklift certification is preferred
+ Ability to count accurately when moving inventory
+ Ability to read scales
+ Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented
+ Alertness and awareness when driving the forklift safely
+ Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or with a team
+ Ability to operate a forklift in confined spaces
+ Reliable transportation to the work site
+ Maintain enthusiasm, a good attitude, honesty, and a willingness to treat all with respect
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00
