Fork Lift Operator
**Job Title: Fork Lift Operator** **Job Description** Join one of the world's leading agricultural companies in helping farmers feed the world while protecting the planet. We are looking for a Fork Lift Operator to start as soon as possible. You will work in a safe and fast-paced environment with great people. This position offers a weekly schedule from Monday to Friday with shifts from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, subject to change based on business needs. **Responsibilities** + Operate the forklift professionally and accident-free, and maintain precise records of forklift inspections. + Perform systematic maintenance and cleaning of the forklift. + Continuously track the location of goods during material handling using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ensure accurate data entry. + Perform manual jobs as directed by the warehouse supervisor or team lead, such as sampling inventory and cleaning. + Keep the warehouse clean and tidy. + During the seed delivery and return season, ensure proper loading and unloading of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations. + Maintain safety standards and initiate emergency procedures when necessary. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 2 years of forklift experience. + Ability to count accurately when moving inventory. + Ability to read scales. + Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented. + Alertness and awareness when driving the forklift in a safe manner. + Ability to communicate and work independently or with a team. + Ability to work in tighter confined spaces with a forklift. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1 year of warehouse experience. + Prior forklift certification is preferred. + Willing to submit to background and other pre-employment screenings. + Have reliable transportation to the site and be able to arrive at the work site as instructed. + Maintain enthusiasm, a good attitude, honesty, and a willingness to treat all with respect. **Why Work Here?** Work with a team that values safety, respect, and integrity. The dress code requires steel toe work boots and long pants. You will work with forklifts and may use technology such as PCs and scanners to complete job tasks.
